My Valentines party

Well I came back to say my Valentines party was great. Mine were the best in the class.

I got a whole desk full home-made rootbeer and I got to frost cookies it was awesome.

My New Favorite Thing

This is my new favorite perfume. It was my splurge to my self after Christmas. Since I have been asking for perfume for like ever and my genius husband never caught on. I think it is great. I do love all the other wonderful gifts that he bought me!

I just had to comment on Emma's little post. She has been wanting a blog for a while now, but I have a hard enough time managing one blog let alone another. I told her that if she was interested that she could start posting on our blog, little things she thought were interesting or pics or whatever. This was Wednesday night, On Thursday morning at 6:45 ( while I was still in bed and she was actually supposed to be getting ready for school) she signed on to the blog and wrote her cute little post. How you ask did she log in and know the password? She is a genius child ( even her teacher said so ). No but really I was extremely surprised to see her post because I didn't even know that she knew how to do it. I guess from now on if I have a question about blogging I can just ask my 9 year old. (man I am getting old).

Yay for Quilting

So ok I thought I had pictures of the finished product but apparently not. This pics not the best my fabric is pink and brown, and supper cute.  This is a baby quilt that I made for MeriBeth's baby shower. (My sister in law. We are due about a month apart) It turned out pretty cute. I didn't know I had it in me.  The only down side is that now Lee is telling everyone that I am a quilter, and they all want help with their projects, I don't know how long I can keep faking it. I do have to admit it is a pretty fun hobby. I also have to plug Amy's store the Quilt Shoppe in Rigby. It is where I got all of my fabric. And the pattern is one that she designed for her online store katiecupcake.com So everyone go check it out.

Dentist Drama!

On Friday I took Gun to the dentist to have two cavities fixed. Was just supposed to be a quick in and out. But turns out one of the cavities was a little deeper. They had to give him a shot instead of just the gas (which helped immensely with the administering of the shot) Gunnar didn't even flinch. They also had to cap the tooth with a silver cap, which we also didn't expect to happen. When we were all done the assistant told him that he had a silver tooth, Gunnar about lost his mind!  He started screaming and crying to get it out(it was probably the combination of numbness in his mouth and disorientation coming off of the gas) whatever it was he was not happy. So I just told him how awesome it was to have a metal tooth like a transformer. Now he thinks it is a robot tooth and tells everyone about it.

 In the mean time he wouldn't stop sucking and biting his numb lip and cheek so he gave him self the worst fat lip I have ever seen. It took until today Wednesday before  all of the swelling went down. He does however still have a nasty sore on the inside of his mouth. Hopefully it will be gone soon. The joys of being a mom.
