It's a Girl!

we went to the Doc on Thursday, and it is officially a girl. I have to admit that I teared up a little, but she is healthy and strong, what more could you ask for. When we came home to deliver the good news, Gunnar wanted to know why Heavenly Father was sending us a girl, and stomped his foot and yelled that he doesn't want another sister. It would have been nice to have a brother, but we are blessed to have any at all. So now the problem is figuring out what to name her. We only compiled a list of boy names, so any good ideas would be great. Maybe this just means we are not done yet? I guess only time will tell.

Ohio here we come!

I take it by the title you already know how the interview went. Lee was accepted into Podiatry School in Ohio. That is a long ways away. But at least we get to go. How exciting!

OH OHIO!

Well, Lee has been gone since Monday afternoon to Ohio for interviews for school. I have been waiting patiently at home to hear the verdict. A little nervous so now I don't have any finger nails left.  The highlights for the last Two days while we wait: Gunnar found an empty box and has drug it around the house filling it with toys, making it into an airplane, and a bed, and then crawling into it and "jusstappearing"( which the translation for that is disappearing). Hannah had her turn with it next and turned it into a cozy little bed that she laid in for a good majority of the day watching T.V. When Gun got home from preschool they decided to go for a ride in it. Hannah crawled into the box at the top of the stairs, then Gunnar proceeded to push her down. The only thing Hannah said when she came to a stop at the bottom  right under my feet was "weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee". They tried to do it again, but I figured  I shouldn't press my luck. I don't think she would of landed upright twice in a row. Next they crawled in and out of the dryer, showing me how they both "fit". As you can tell they have had alot of fun since dad left town. Oh yes this is all the same day that Emma came home from school with a throw up bug. So I hope you can all see why I decided to ditch the kids on my sister ( who had her wisdom teeth out the day before) and spend the day with my BFF Tiffany sewing. Granted I was sewing for my kids but they were not there. What a trooper. Thanks Steph I needed it. And sorry for the lack of pictures I tried to capture as many of these "Breathtaking" moments I could, however my husband is not here to show me how to use the bluetooth device to get them off my phone. Give me a day or two.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Well I guess Happy Thanksgiving everyone. Sorry this is all I have, what between shopping and baking and trying to tell my husband not to go overboard on the turkey. But like I said I am turning over a new leaf and I am going to be a blogger. Right now I am making about a dozen pumpkin cake rolls ( the only reason we even have thanksgiving in my opinion, well that and pie ) and my family ditched me to go play at grandmas house. Oh well at least I can actually finish them on time huh? I am so excited for the holidays, but I do have to say that I don't enjoy them quite as much as  I used to, only because it seems like the older you get the quicker they fly by. There is not enough time to enjoy them before its all said and done.  I don't want to get older. I mean I get older but I still don't feel older. That must be a good thing. Still, a child at heart. Does that mean I get to go straight to heaven? The lord said be like unto a little child? If not, at least my kids have a way cool mom huh? . Maybe I will just make up more holidays throughout the year as an excuse to celebrate? Sounds good to me. I have already tried the extending  birthdays and my anniversary into a month long celebration, that however never really works out in my favor. I do have so much to be grateful for. I have such a great family. My husband loves me, my kids are so good, even though I might say otherwise now and again, and I am healthy, except for the ridiculous amount of baby weight I continue to gain even though it would seem I run a marathon daily (that of course would be Gun and Hannah). I am so grateful for all that I have. We are so blessed. ........................ Oh I almost forgot. I am so psyched for the Black Friday sales.                                                          People better watch out.

Only a few days late

Well I guess this must mean that I'm not a true blue through and through blogger. Hey we all knew that though didn't we (Ashlee)! The funny thing is even though  you all know that I am not a blogger  you continue to look at my site, it's like you have nothing better to do with your time. Just kidding I love you all. Thanks for all the support. So the updates for the last few day:

1. Gunnar had croup. We skipped out on church and laid around with the nebulizer.
2. My mom changed our Thanksgiving day plans for the third time. I don't know now if we are going to my sisters house, staying home, going to my mom's, or just ditching out and going to Denny's?
3.  We are in the midsts of potty training Hannah. So far the accidents out number the successes. Even though I am still very impressed at how well she is doing for just being Two.
And last but not least:
4. The kids have been letting me know every chance they get what they will be getting for Christmas from Santa. If they keep it up Santa might not remember everything.  wink wink.

A new leaf

I want to be that amazing blogger who updates the friends and family on a regular basis, posts all the cutes pictures, and says something fun and quirky, or something perhaps that would inspire someone.  But instead I decided to just start small. I would actually post something. SO this is me turning over a new leaf and if I post again before the end of the week I will officially be a blogger. Not to mention this will totally help with my typing and my spelling skills.

Mud Monster

It doesn't matter where we are or what we are doing, this kid can find mud and paint himself form head to toe. It was even inside of his shorts.

Obviously Hannah didn't want to stop and pose for a picture while every one else was playing. My sisters and I had a "sister" day which consisted of McDonald's, the park, and the treat store. We don't cater to our kids to much do you think?

So we figured it was time to switch to a bigger bed when Hannah had the netting marks on the top of her head.

Michelin baby

The is one for Tiff. That is what you get for dissin my blog or lack there of.

Emma the Great

Emma is the type of child that every parent wants she is always a big help around the house and is so loving and giving. She is also a lot happier when she wakes up than her mother.

Monkey

Gunnar really has no fear in him at all. His Mom is going to have a run for her money when he is a teen. Roni and Gunnar are a lot alike.

Smart Baby

Here is sweet little Hannah. Everybody says how smart she is. Well I think she is going to be the sweet little diabolical mastermind behind Gunnars brut strength.
